Job role
We are seeking individuals for a unique opportunity to contribute to linguistic research by recording speech samples in their local dialect. As part of this role, you will be provided with prompts and topics to guide your recordings.
Your primary responsibility will involve recording spoken responses to these prompts, showcasing your fluency and natural use of the local dialect. The topics may vary, ranging from everyday conversations to specific themes like culture, technology, or current events.
Key Responsibilities
Record spoken responses to provided prompts and topics in your local dialect.
Ensure clarity, naturalness, and fluency in speech while adhering to the given instructions.
Maintain consistency and quality across recordings.
Follow guidelines and protocols provided for the recording process.
Provide feedback or insights on the recording process if required.
Qualifications
Proficiency in reading and comprehending both the native language (including the local dialect) and the standard version of the language.
Possession of a degree in a native language-related course or program is advantageous.
Must own an Android smartphone.
Reliable access to a stable internet connection is essential.
Fluent speaker of the local dialect or language.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with technology and recording equipment (if applicable).
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable and committed to meeting deadlines.
Basic Compensation
Rs 900 per 60 minutes of effective duration (pro-rated basis).
